It’s All About Experience
One of my favorite things to do, outside of work, is to share ideas for experiences. I love coming up with new and exciting ways to have fun on a creative budget, and seeing the joy that these experiences can bring to families and friends. I hope my ideas can inspire you to get out there and create your own unforgettable moments.
What does “Halcyon” mean?
Halcyon refers to a period of time that is idyllically happy, peaceful, and prosperous.
halcyon: adjective. hal-sē-ən; characterized by happiness, great success, and prosperity
The term comes from Greek mythology, where it was believed that the halcyon bird (a type of kingfisher) would nest on the sea during the winter solstice, creating a period of calm and tranquility.
The word “halcyon” has since come to represent a time or place that is characterized by serenity, prosperity, and happiness.
I strive to bring this state of being into my work and all facets of my life.
